Senior Developer - Platform Services

Opportunity:

\With this role you will be joining the Platform Services team, working closely with a technical product owner, you will be focusing on the provision and continuous improvement and encourage technical innovation and accelerate product delivery.

This is a technical, hands-on role wherein you will contribute towards everything from realising our strategic technical road-map, to developing application building blocks, consulting with product delivery teams and delivering internal platform related tools and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-10+ years experience in professional software development.
  • Expertise in the use of multiple technologies (including, but not limited to: .Net Framework, .Net Core, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, SQL Server, JavaScript/Angular/React, AWS, Azure, Cloud, Docker) across software development, microservices, messaging sub-systems, security, data movement.
  • Strong working knowledge and/or experience in the use of patterns and principles of Software Engineering (S.O.L.I.D principles, Gang Of Four Design Patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Domain Driven Design.
  • Significant software engineering experience in designing and delivering enterprise level libraries, frameworks, web applications, 
  • Experience in the implementation of greenfield projects as well as the evolution of legacy systems and processes.
  • Well developed problem-solving skills, especially the ability to identify the source of the problem, create and test appropriate solutions
