With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Our Animal Health site in Upper Hutt is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer. This position will see you take responsibility for preventative maintenance, breakdown support including problem solving and root cause analysis, providing support with product investigations and ensuring all activities are accurately documented. 

 

ABOUT YOU 

 

To be successful in these positions you will:

  • Be an experience Mechanical Engineer, holding a trade qualification in this field. 
  • Have experience working in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Dairy industry, Brewing, Petrochemical or Pulp and Paper manufacture 
  • Have experience conducting routine and breakdown maintenance on a range of equipment including but not limited to pumps, boilers, compressors, Centrifuges, Pneumatics and hydraulics 
  • An understanding and experience working to GMP, GLP or ISO 9000
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable documenting your activity to demonstrate adherence to compliance standards 
  • Be computer literate and have experience with Workmate, GD Edwards or similar databases
