We have two interesting opportunities for a fixed termer or permanent Psychologist to deliver specialised group treatment.

As part of the Women’s Strategy initiative, departmental psychology developed the Kimihia programme to practically and responsively address the rehabilitation needs of high risk/high need women, and contribute to a reduction in reoffending rates and imprisonment rates.

Manukau psychologists’ office has a full-time position or fixed term twelve month for a psychologist to deliver the Kimihia programme at Auckland Regional Women’s Correctional Facility. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your clinical skills and provide professional expertise and leadership in a diverse social service environment.

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to deliver group treatment. 

We are NOT specific on area of speciality in this role, we are looking for a Registered Psychologist who:
 

  • Has a desire to empower women to make positive changes in their lives.
  • Has experience in clinical assessment, treatment and psychometric evaluation.
  • Has a high level of cultural responsiveness.
  • Has experience in group facilitation.
  • Has experience in CBT/DBT.
