Super Star needed for Team Support / Personal Assistant - Interior Design Studio

Our clients are inspired Interior and Architectural Design company and operate a full design studio based in creative space, in Newton. They are a very passionate, talented and hardworking team and are looking to employ a like-minded Studio Support Star to support their team of Designers and provide PA support to the business owner.

The role will be a busy role, where no two days will be the same and where you will have the opportunity to showcase your high levels of organisation, administration and communication, as you manage a variety of tasks and really put your stamp on the role. 

It will require someone who will be able to balance supporting the needs of the team, in their day to day activities, while at the same time fulfilling their own tasks as well as Personal Assistant type tasks to support to support the business owner – Leader Designer. (She is pretty amazing – full on, but in a really good way!)

You will be comfortable balancing a variety of tasks; from sourcing a quote on a specific product, arranging samples, to fulfilling invoices and billing administration, diary support, running errands, client communication, creating excel spread sheets, ordering office supplies, proof reading documents, and managing day to day project administration. (there will be a whole heap of things in between).

Your communication skills will be strong and flexible.  You will need to have an upbeat, bright and positive attitude, with piles of initiative and enjoy being the 'go to’ person…. with an "I am here to help" attitude.

There will be oodles of variety and will keep a strong support person on their toes.

The right person for this role will need to have a few years of work experience under their belt, preferably in a role where you have had some administration or support responsibilities. You will be the sort of person that is flexible, can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, someone who can learn quickly and of course can have a laugh and not take themselves too seriously.

This role will suit someone who has some Interior Design interest, but remember, this is a Studio Support role… not a role for a designer or want-to-be designer.
