One of New Zealand’s leading financial services organisations is looking for a Financial & Management Accountant role for an initial six month period.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly revenue analysis for business division – roughly 40% of overall group revenue (Including reporting to Board)
• Working closely with the senior management team of relevant business division and with the wider business units
• Ad hoc queries from business units
• Development of internal reporting for management  
• Detailed revenue analysis cut multiple ways (i.e. down to advisor/salesperson; instrument/revenue type; customer)
• Controls implementation & development to minimise risk of errors
• Continuous process improvement
• Revenue forecasting
• Year-end audit liaison for revenue analysis

 
Candidate specification:

• Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with minimum two years post qualified experience
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-driven and results orientated
• Strong commercial acumen
• High competency with MS Excel (and to a lesser extent rest of MS suite, particularly MS Access)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels via various mediums
• Upholds values of professionalism & integrity
