ShopNZ.com is an online store on the Tutukaka Coast, east of Whangarei. We ship Kiwiana and Maori gifts all over the world.
You will be involved in the shipping process, entering orders into Reckon and creating shipping labels. You will also be doing the accounts, preparing accounts for payment and communicating with customers.
You MUST have demonstrable experience doing accounts work in a business situation, but the rest we can teach you.
The job is high pressure during the first half of the day, as you enter orders and prepare shipping labels for pick up of parcels by the courier. Then for the rest of the day you need to have the commonsense to manage your time well, to get other tasks done so that by the time payment day comes around, the accounts are tidy and ready to be paid.
So I am looking for a well-rounded person with a Kiwi can-do attitude. We have lots of laughs and all help each other, but you must be able to demonstrate that you work well under pressure. Accounts experience is the main requirement. Your spelling and grammar need to be top notch, have a good knowledge of the countries of the world, and you need to have experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You must be able to work 9 to 5. The job is full time but applications are also invited from those looking at a possible job share situation.
How to apply
Please send your CV and a cover letter to email@example.com. In your cover letter, I want to hear why you think you would be perfect for the job. Please go through all our requirements and state your experience with each of them.

If you currently reside outside of Whangarei please do not apply.
