People Performance Coach - Dunedin

The retail world is changing and the need to be responsive is more important than ever when it comes to developing our people through coaching. Here at The Warehouse Group, we are focused on driving a high performance culture in our stores – this is where you come in! To help us in our journey, we are now on the hunt for a People Performance Coach to join The Warehouse Group family and to work across our four core retail brands – The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming & Torpedo7.

 

The Role:

  • To influence and develop store leadership to promote a performance culture through effective utilization of group tools and solutions
  • To build Store Management Capability and Competency
  • To consult & build strong relationships with Regional Manager leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change of store team members across brands
  • To ensure effective implementation & integration of a variety of solutions – Career planning, coaching, performance management
  • Align talent needs with current and future needs of the business and workforce, and work with business leadership to develop and coach top talent.

 

To really hit the ground running in this role, you will be:

  • A passionate people coach who has come from a sales environment and understands the expectations, the challenges and ultimately the incredible rewards that come from a successful sales career.
  • Confidently train and inspire in an environment of constant change
  • Able to see the bigger picture when it comes to providing specialised coaching for individuals that feeds into the broader people development strategy
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for training based on the analysis, demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be an effective communicator who is capable of building relationships at all levels and motivating leaders and teams to exceed KPIs
  • Unafraid to punt up new ideas and keen to improve current processes
  • A self-managing, confident, adaptable, energetic person you can easily influence at all levels of the organisation.
