Facilities Services Coordinator

Want to be involved in shaping your City? Here at the Council, we know our strength comes from our people working together as one team to create results. In joining us, you're getting involved first hand in crafting the Christchurch community. We're diverse and dynamic - there's always new and interesting projects to get stuck into, and we love creating opportunities for our people to get involved in it all! We are passionate about meeting the needs of the Community and to do so, we are looking for a Facilities Services Coordinator to join our Facilities Management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a shared service function for all of our facilities contracts. Reporting to the Facilities Management Team Leader, this challenging role is continually busy implementing front line improvements. You'll be an expert in reconciling complex invoices, and ideally be fluent in SAP or similar business systems. The role also involves financial reporting, audits, problem solving and continuity planning.

You must have experience in monitoring and maintaining service contracts and enjoy the challenge of a transactional, technical and operational role. You will be a champion for delivering excellent customer service and developing and maintaining relationships that will instil confidence and trust with a range of key staff and contractors. You will use your excellent organisational skills, and your attention to detail in managing your busy and varied workload.

Our team's objective is to provide a single point of contact to resolve, monitor and escalate work orders and contractual issues. You will have the responsibility to understand the customer requests and present options for an efficient resolution.

If you enjoy working in an inclusive and collaborative environment, within a great team who support each other - and if you're looking for a rewarding, challenging career - then we'd like to hear from you!

Get first-hand experience, and get involved in it all. Get in touch.
