Key Account Manager

We are an undisputed leader in its market, providing a wide range of services to the general public and business community, including the retail, hospitality, industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as government departments and educational establishments. We employ in excess of 1,500 staff in NZ and have numerous sites across the country. 

 

The Role:

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team based in Mt Wellington, Auckland. (Please note: We are moving to a new state of the art office based in East Tamaki, January 2020)

In this role you will be accountable for providing key single point account management to achieve new business growth from new customers, excluding nominated key and national accounts.

  • New business targets from new customers as set within the Region / Territory
  • Maximising value of services achieved in new customers within the first 12 months of contract
  • Conducting the minimum number of “face to face” sales calls each week as set by the Field Sales Manager

In this role you will have a track record of success in competitive environments, with high energy levels and receptive to coaching and training. We are looking for a competitive individual who has proven sales experience in a fast paced industry and passionate to grow in their sales career. 

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Clear interpersonal & communication skills; collaborative team style
  • Interest in recycling, gardening, soil and composting
  • Strengths in relationship development and management, customer focused
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills
  • An energetic, “can do” attitude & style
  • Proven experience: sales, solution selling, business acumen.
  • Having used Sales Force, territory planning, will be an advantage
  • Current NZ driver’s license
