We have an upcoming vacancy in our tight-knit, fun-loving Wellington team and are on the hunt for a Technician looking to take the next step in their career. We are looking for someone to join us for the ride with an anticipated start date of early January 2020.

The Role

We are looking for an IT Technician who may have few years up their sleeve and is keen on having a big impact crunching tickets on our Primary and Secondary Helpdesk. They are also wanting to deepen their technical knowledge and foster their account management experience. The successful candidate will thrive on the Helpdesk, be able to follow through on sales opportunities, be able to self-manage time and technical components while onsite, and pro-actively raise recurring technical issues with our Primary Account Managers. For the right motivated candidate, this role can be a great launch pad into real career progression into future Senior Technical or Consulting roles at Think Concepts.

Key Responsibilities

This Tech Ninja will have a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Primary and Secondary Helpdesk across a wide-ranging customer base
  • Helpdesk Sales/Consulting
  • Secondary Account Management for Managed Service Clients
  • Onsite Technical Project Deployments

Requirements

  • You are a champion for outstanding customer service, with supreme verbal and written communication skills. Explaining the technical to the non-technical comes second-nature to you
  • You understand that listening to and understanding the customer journey is imperative to our success
  • You are keen and confident in client interactions both in-person and over the phone
  • You have a passionate, professional, with a noteworthy positive attitude
  • You are a team-player that enjoys lending a helping hand
  • You are a master problem solver with great initiative and determination to go the extra mile
  • You stay cool as a cucumber under pressure and have stellar IT troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • You want to learn more about the important aspects of sales like margin, mark-up, gross profit, total cost of ownership and return on investment (ROI)
