Tamaki Regeneration Company - Planned Maintenance Programme Coordinator

Our client is making a significant difference to the future of Auckland.  The Tamaki Redevelopment Company has been mandated by its shareholders, New Zealand Government and Auckland Council, to lead urban regeneration activity in Tamaki to achieve four equally important objectives – social transformation, economic development, placemaking and housing resources. The Tamaki Redevelopment Company is positioned to achieve something that has not been achieved before, anywhere in New Zealand.  The regeneration of Tamaki will not only build a “place” for a vibrant and cohesive community, it will create greater opportunities for the children, adults and businesses of Tamaki.   TRC holds an opportunity to influence future projects for the greater benefit of Auckland and New Zealand’s social, economic and spatial regeneration.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, the Planned Maintenance Programme Manager will be responsible for leading and participating in the Building Envelope, Healthy Homes and Internal Redecoration projects across over 1,200 homes, ensuring efficient delivery to achieve legislative requirements and desired outcomes are met.  This role works across organizational boundaries to ensure the effective delivery of projects, it provides direction and guidance on the development and delivery of the Quality Housing program and it ensures the project deliverables are strategically aligned with the overarching TRC work programme. Additionally, the Planned Maintenance Programme Manager will contribute to the development of policy, research and related strategic documentation in asset management, and bring together relevant stakeholders including those with a variety of views to collaborate in the achievement of outcomes.  Publishing and presenting key findings to all key partners within the asset management context forms another important aspect of this role.

To secure this role you must be experienced in delivering multiple projects as part of a larger work program, and have previously worked in asset management; in particular residential accommodation.  You must have experience in and gained success working in and/or leading teams to drive better social and economic outcomes for communities.  Experience in focused asset management, planned maintenance program and outcome reporting is essential, as is high quality communication and influencing skills and the ability to work in high trust - high pace team environments.  A high degree of cultural competency in relation to Maori and/ or Pacific communities is preferred.

This position is being offered as a fixed term contract for a period of two years.  The Planned Maintenance Programme Coordinator will report directly to this role.

This is a career defining role, the kind that will make you feel good about what you’re doing every single day.  This job has the ability to transform your CV so, if you have the skills and the drive to join TRC, contact Clare Turner immediately: email ct@redconsultinggroup.co.nz or Tel. 09 623 5521 (ddi).
