ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2021 - Broadcast & Media Operations Manager

Held every 4 years, the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is the pinnacle of women’s cricket globally, and the next installment is to be hosted right here, in New Zealand, in February 2021. Last time more than 180 million people around the world watched the tournament, and this is set to increase in 2021 with every match broadcast live for the first time. Women’s Cricket 2021 has been established to set-up and run the tournament, in partnership with the ICC and New Zealand Cricket, and we’re a passionate and enthusiastic team that is growing fast.

We’re looking for a Broadcast & Media Operations Manager to join us and support the Venue Operations team. Your primary role will be to plan and deliver the operations, facilities and infrastructure required to support the broadcast rights and media coverage for the tournament.

Ideally, you’ll have a host of relevant experience, including:

  • Proven broadcast and media operations support for a major sporting event or organisation
  • Operational planning and delivery for key media spaces including the press box, press conference room, mixed zone, media dining and photo positions
  • Strong technical knowledge in relation to broadcast and media infrastructure
  • Understanding and proven track record working with rights holders

You’ll also have some amazing personal skills and attributes such as:

  • The ability to deliver complex projects to non-negotiable deadlines and budgets
  • The ability to lead multi-functional project teams across multiple locations
  • Excellent relationship skills, working with domestic and international stakeholders
