Expressions of Interest Business Information Systems and Science

The Western Institute of Technology (WITT), Te Kura Matatini o Taranaki, is the largest tertiary education provider in Taranaki. Our focus is on providing quality education that meets the needs of our region’s learners, industry and community.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for expressions of interest from those who would like to be involved in the development and teaching of our new Business Information Systems, Information Science and Informatics courses being offered in 2020.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly effective communicator who is committed to supporting, guiding and motivating students through the course of their studies. You’ll also need:

  • A background in two or more of the following knowledge areas:
    • Applied Computing
    • Business Analysis
    • Systems Analysis and Design
    • Information and Communication Technologies
    • Security and Forensics
    • E-Business Models and Systems
    • Informatics
  • Qualified to Masters or Post Graduate level relating to the above
  • Ideally you will also have experience in a teaching and learning environment but this is not essential, staff development is available.

This role is located within our School Māori Enterprise, Business & Technology.
