healthAlliance NZ Ltd is the largest shared services organisation in the New Zealand public health Sector. Jointly owned by the 4 northern region district health boards (DHB’s), Northland DHB, Waitemata DHB. Auckland DHB and Counties Manukau health, we have been operating successfully for 19 years.

We provide professional shared services and information systems platform for the Northern region DHBs that support high quality clinical service delivery. About the role:

The purpose of the role is to provide application functional support to the regional Oracle e-Business suite (EBS) across the Northern Region DHB’s – Auckland DHB, Waitemata DHB, Counties Manukau DHB and Northland DHB.

The role provides support/functional knowledge / configuration / testing / education and documentation to support Oracle EBS and its peripheral systems and processes to ensure that end users get maximum value using the systems. 

The role also contributes to the ongoing enhancement of the system by participating in user groups to identify and prioritise enhancements.  

 

What are we looking for?

Ideally we are looking for someone who is able to pick up on technical things quickly, someone who is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.  Ideally you will be results driven, and look beyond the obvious.

 

You will preferably have the following skills / experience:

  • Diploma in IS or Business Studies

  • 2 years current demonstrated system administration experience in an analysis / support role, and a good understanding of relevant business process using Oracle e-Business Suite R12

  • Experience in developing formal documentation such as System administration manuals, Document Change Control etc.
