Ford is a household name in New Zealand as one of the world’s market leaders in the design, manufacturing and marketing of high technology, leading edge products.  Their mission is to become the most trusted mobility company, designing smart vehicles for a smart world. Their commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business is also reflected in recruiting and training outstanding people.

Due to an internal promotion, this is a rare opportunity to join this close-knit Marketing team based in their Head Office in Highbrook.  Reporting to the General Marketing Manager, this role is essentially responsible for the leadership, development and execution of all Ford NZ brand and retail marketing communications, marketing events and launch plans.

This is a varied role which includes primary brand communications - campaign development and deployment, retail marketing communications to support the dealer network, managing the digital strategy and consumer website and the customer for life programme.  You are also responsible for managing the fantastic sponsorship properties across New Zealand Rugby, Cricket and Hockey – including activations and experiences for customers that money can’t buy.

Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, you have proven experience in marketing communications and campaign development.  Digitally savvy you understand media performance, working with your agency partners to leverage SEO/SEM, social and display optimisation.  An effective communicator, you can present ideas and concepts, and influence when it counts to build strong stakeholder relationships.

While automotive marketing experience is not essential, working with a dealer or retail network would be useful. The ability to think strategically and implement tactically, with a can do, find a way attitude and a passion for the customer will ensure your success.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Ford team, working with people who value teamwork and who love what they do.
