Philip Morris International is on a transformative journey and we’ve set a new course for the company. We are making big changes and trying to do our part in designing a smoke free future.

Our IQOS is the most developed of PMI's smoke-free product portfolio. Unlike cigarettes that burn tobacco, IQOS doesn't combust but instead heats the tobacco to release nicotine. We launched IQOS at the end of 2018 and have experienced significant growth, therefore we are gearing up to open our first temporary IQOS pop up boutique in New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and experienced Retail Sales experts!!

This a newly created, customer facing role, where you will engage with customers at our brand new, retail pop up based in Auckland CBD. Our products are innovative and evolving, so this role extends beyond just sales and is also about raising brand awareness and providing a seamless experience for new and existing customers. Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Introducing/educating customers on our range of products
  • Providing a 5 star, in-store consumer experience
  • Managing sales & inventory
  • Increasing our consumer base
  • Collaborating with the wider sales team

Your skills and experience

As well as strong sales skills, this role requires experts who are have the confidence to engage with a wide variety of people. We are looking for:

  • Strong customer service experience in any of the following industries; Retail, Hospitality or Tourism.
  • Previous store management experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills. The ability to speak Mandarin would be beneficial
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to think outside the box
  • Professional and driven, as this is a newly created role that you can put your mark on
