Radfords have been helping their clients grow the world's food basket for the last 30 years and, with 10 billion mouths to feed by 2050, the fresh produce sector is at the forefront of global growth and is an exciting place to be in. Based in the capital of the kiwifruit and avocado industries, over 30 years we've grown into a team of 45 passionate people delivering software for a variety of fresh produce clients across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Asia and USA. All our products have been designed, built, tested and supported in-house and our suite comprises highly effective software solutions covering orchard through packhouse, inventory management and outbound logistics. We now need the services of 2 additional, energetic individuals to work on both new and existing products - all key to our strategic direction. 

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A working knowledge of Web/Windows Applications in C#/Vb.net development
  • Exposure to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jquery
  • An interest in Mobile development
  • Demonstrable problem solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of database theory and SQL

You will also need to have:

  • A Tertiary level qualification in IT
  • An understanding of software development processes

Preference will be given to those who have achieved outstanding results in a Computer Science / Software Engineering educational setting. Practical industry experience in Microsoft technologies and software development environments is an advantage. Practical experience in website development, or app development is also an advantage.
