Application Support Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as we support business applications and services across our very diverse organisation.  No two days will be the same - you will be working with a team committed to delivering a great customer experience and continually looking to make changes and improve systems and business processes.

As an Application Support Analyst, you will be working in a team of five, supporting and maintaining the diverse range of applications, systems and technologies used across Local Government. Ideally you will be familiar with ITIL and have previous incident, request and problem management experience.  There will be opportunities to work as part of project teams to deliver both new and (upgraded) existing systems.

Our successful candidate will be customer focused, with strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness and aptitude to learn new systems and skills.

This is a fixed term role covering parental leave, ending in January 2021. The recruiting range for this role starts at $69,762 per annum pro rata and could be negotiated for the right candidate.

Hamilton City Council is committed to being a high-performance organisation with people who think differently, act with integrity, make it happen and work together.

This is your chance to be part of an organisation that is committed to building a more vibrant, attractive and prosperous city. If this role sounds like it’s for you, we would love to hear from you. Make it happen and apply online today!

All candidates will be notified of the outcome on their application via email. Short-listed candidates may be required to complete an interview process, reference checks, pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol assessments, credit check and a Ministry of Justice or Police vetting check.
