Innovation and Improvement Consultant

This innovative organisation, an industry leader in their delivery of digital healthcare services, is looking for an Innovation and Improvement Consultant for a six-month fixed term contract.
  
The Role
Working closely with the service leader, you will investigate and identify any gaps and issues before implementing your recommended initiatives. At all times your role will be to support and enhance the delivery of health services to the people of New Zealand.

More specifically you will be:
  • Reviewing the current processes, procedures and general delivery of the health services.
  • Preparing a gap analysis and creating a roadmap for change.
  • Working collaboratively with the business, leading and implementing the change.
Background
  • A sound knowledge and appreciation of the New Zealand healthcare sector
  • Experience in either a call centre or rostered environment
  • Comfortable with reviewing and analysing reports and numbers
  • Project Management experience
  • A clinical or service delivery background is not a requirement but an advantage

  • Able to identify problems and deliver on change
  • Analytical
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Collaborative
  • Effective listening skills
