Platinum Recruitment has exclusively partnered with Contego, Dunedin to recruit for a newly created role; Office Manager. 

Contego is a dynamic company that are a passive fire protection contracting company operating in the South Island of New Zealand with offices in Dunedin & Queenstown. Their mission is to raise the standard of passive fire protection in their region and become the benchmark contractor within the industry.

Contego operates in the Commercial Construction & Building Compliance sectors for a large portfolio of blue-chip clients across the region.

This is a young, energetic company paving the way in their industry and have already amassed a number of awards including the Westpac Otago Business - Emerging Business Award and the Property Council Southern Excellence Award which is reflective of their brand and the standards they set.

They are also moving into new offices in 2020 and gearing up for the southern construction sector’s construction boom over the next 5-10 years.

The Role

Working with a medium-sized but High Performing team, you will be reporting to the General Manager as well as have other key stakeholders to engage with across a wide range of duties within the organisation.

This is a newly created but pivotal role within the organisation and we are looking for someone that can add true value through experience to the organisation.

You must be a strong communicator both verbally and written and have high levels of attention to detail as well as be an intermediate user across most Microsoft office products.

Key Tasks
  • Assist General Manager with daily & monthly tasks
  • Assist Finance Officer with daily & monthly tasks
  • Support Queenstown Regional Manager with Administration remotely
  • Support Management team with monthly reporting & strategic goals.
  • Report & presentation writing & review in word, excel, PowerPoint & others.
  • Data entry into Xero
  • Back up training for Payroll
  • Health & Safety administration
  • Managing staff training & development
  • Compiling client proposals, tenders & marketing collateral
  • Fleet management – RUC, WOF, bookings etc
