Marketing & Business Development assistant - Part/full time - permanent role

Concept Engineering is based in Christchurch.  We have a fantastic opportunity for a marketing and business development person. This role is full or part-time with flexible working hours available - perfect for those who are looking for a work-life balance.

You will work in our Marketing department alongside our Marketing and Business Development Manager. You'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Marketing and Business Development Manager in day to day department tasks
  • Working with the team to manage social media presence across multiple platforms; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
  • Assist in creating engaging content in the form of social media posting, news & blog articles, website pages, infographics, brochures, e-books, flyers, newspaper ads & articles, event collateral, digital video scripts and storyboards, email marketing
  • Providing general administrative support to the team 
  • Business Development calls to prospective and existing clients
  • Assist with website content and general management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A marketing degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
  • Great organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Adobe design suite and InDesign and confidence with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Experience with website Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive, energetic and upbeat approach to challenges and problem solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Creativity and innovation

You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and attend an interview in person in Christchurch.
