Community Engagement Events Coordinator

Are you passionate about celebrating local community?

Te Aroha Noa Community Services is a community development organisation based in Highbury , Palmerston North. We are offering  a .4 FTE position in our Community Engagement team as an Events Coordinator.  This team strives to build a connected, vibrant and healthy community here in the south western suburbs of Palmerston North. 

We are looking for someone who:

  •  Has strong skills in engaging with our diverse local community
  • Understands the strengths and needs of our community and uses these to develop events that enhance well-being
  • Is passionate and creative in engaging community participation and co-design.
  • Can liaise successfully with key stakeholders
  • Has strong leadership skills and can work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Has strong planning, execution and evaluation skills
