Corporate Strategy & M&A Analyst

Want to be part of something special? Kiwi Wealth is on a mission to make it easy and rewarding for all Kiwis to invest. We are always learning and we're constantly striving to find better ways to do things for our customers and our people. This is a great opportunity to be part of a customer centric, innovative, and award-winning organisation. We've achieved a huge amount in the past few years, but we haven't finished yet.

A vacancy has come up in our small Strategy & Partnerships team, and we're looking for a Strategy Analyst to join us. If financial modelling is your thing and you're keen to broaden your experience quickly, this could be the role for you. The financial services industry is changing fast so we're looking for quick thinkers to help us stay ahead of the pack. You don't need to have formal strategic training, but you'll need to be able to research and analyse large amounts of diverse information in order to create cogent arguments.

As the Strategy Analyst, you will support the team to build a pipeline of growth opportunities, including M&A, partnerships and joint ventures. You will lead the financial modelling, evaluating opportunities and articulating insights, helping to influence the future of the business.

What skills and experience will you need?

  • Financial modelling experience is essential

You might not yet have any M&A experience yet, but you'll need to have a genuine interest in this, as you'll assist with managing transactions, including valuations, due diligence and structuring.

You'll be self-motivated with a collaborative style. We want you to give your perspective and bring your ideas; we encourage you to have a voice.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Applications close on 18 November 2019, but we'll review applications as they come in - so apply today
