As a leader in our industry we specialise in supplying new boilers and burners, manufacturing heat exchangers and economisers, and we have a highly skilled division of service engineers. Due to our recent rapid growth we are now seeking a Receptionist to join our team in Hamilton.

This will be ideally a junior role but will suit someone who is looking to grow within the company and be able to take on more challenging tasks at a later stage.

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Answering and managing phones and Outlook emails
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring the sign in register is up to date
  • Tidying and cleaning up the lunch room
  • Filing and shredding of documents
  • Provide admin support to Accounts and Operations Manager
  • Preparing training books
  • Ordering Stationery
  • Run errands ie milk, banking, mail etc
  • Raising purchase orders for all staff members
  • Preparing invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
  • Social media updates

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent person presentation
  • Confidence with a great sense of humour
  • A clear telephone manner
  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
  • Strong keyboard and typing skills
  • A positive attitude to assisting with any administrative duties
  • Ability to work in a team, and work around problems to find solutions as they arise
  • A full clean driver's licence

While recent reception experience would be an advantage, we are also very keen to talk to someone who has the right attitude, who is able to prioritise their own workload and multi-task.  The hours for this position will be 35 hours starting at 8.30am and finishing at 4pm.
