Position Summary:

We are looking for an ICT Manager who is ready to lead our team of Network Specialists through challenging and complex work, based in our Auckland Office.

Our key Honeywell customer owns a nation-wide electronic security network, in this asset, are the security system applications, servers and networks. You will take full responsibility for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of these core systems, including involvement with continual expansion and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish clear process and procedures to ensure high delivery outcomes
  • Refining and implementing processes; including incident, problem and change management
  • Development and maintenance site-specific technical documentation
  • Ensure the continuity of operations of the electronic security systems on the network

You must have

  • Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education in Information Technology/Systems or Computer Science (Essential).
  • Certification and/or Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft), VCP (VMware), CA (Citrix) or similar.
  • Strong background as an IT Systems Engineer or equivalent
  • Proficiency in networking, servers, storage, and enterprise applications
  • Current and proven knowledge and systems experience at a senior level in an enterprise environment with the following technologies:
  • Windows Servers
  • Virtualisation Technologies (VMware preferred)
  • Networking, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
  • SAN Storage
  • Microsoft SQL Server
