About the role
In this team support role can be based in either Te Kuiti or Taumarunui and will spend 50% of the time in the other location, you will provide a responsive and high-quality administrative and secretarial support service to Bay of Plenty management team and office functions.   Your well-organised approach and professionalism will allow our team to focus on delivering positive outcomes for stakeholders.  There is lots of variety to keep you busy, so confidence using computer systems, technology and admin systems with ease will see you succeed.  

About you
You enjoy a fast-paced environment where people-engagement is high as is juggling multiple priorities throughout the day.  Most of all, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service, empathy and a high attention to detail.  No task is ever too big or too small and you genuinely enjoy being a team player.

To succeed you will need

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • exceptional time management and planning skills
  • a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • advanced level of word processing, computer and keyboard skills and comfortable using multiple computer systems
  • experience in providing secretarial services e.g. booking meetings, video conferences, flights and accommodation; minute taking etc.
  • familiar with file management and storage processes
  • familiar with ordering office supplies and managing expenditure, assisting with budgets and managing invoices for budget manager authorisation
  • a flexible approach to your work demands with the ability to adjust priorities when needed in a fast-paced environment
  • New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency (this is a Level 4/5 AZNSCO position).

We offer

  • Starting salary $43,992.00 to $54,020.00 per annum. Application along this scale is dependent on relevant skills, experience and other factors.
  • A supportive team environment with regular coaching and development.
  • Standard business hours working Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 4.30pm
