KiwiSaver Specialist Distribution

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a talented individual to build a career as a Kiwisaver Specialist with a leading NZX firm and KiwiSaver provider – Summer KiwiSaver scheme.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in a sales environment and relationship building, who can deliver a high standard of service to external and internal parties as well as developing and supporting the growth of our KiwiSaver scheme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a business plan to deliver growth in the Summer KiwiSaver scheme;
  • Growing a network of quality external distributors that offer the Summer KiwiSaver scheme;
  • Building  and enhancing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance the Summer KiwiSaver scheme’s reputation;
  • Providing a positive Adviser and Member experience by delivering a high quality of service, assistance, product knowledge and information about the Summer KiwiSaver scheme.

To be successful in this role, we require the following experience, key skills and personal attributes:

  • A sound knowledge of savings products and financial services markets with an understanding of the principles of sales and marketing and investment advice;
  • The ability to work within a regulatory framework, maintaining compliance at all times;
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure, and deal with multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities and objectives;
  • A high level of competency in Microsoft office programmes;
  • A professional, positive attitude with exceptional time management, prioritising and problem solving skills;
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Marketing or Finance is preferable;
  • Experience in the financial services industry would be advantageous, along with the willingness to work towards your AFA or equivalent status

Regular overnight travel is a requirement of the role as well as a full clean driver's licence.
