Hospitality Opportunities - Henley Hotel

Henley Hotel is a 14 room boutique luxury hotel, located 2 hours from Auckland, less than half an hour from Hobbiton Movie Set Tours, and one hour from Rotorua and the Waitomo Caves.

Facilities on site include an indoor pool, yoga room, screening room/cinema, sauna, spa pool, day spa, function centre (for up to 200 guests), cocktail bar, drawing room and 29 acres of parkland grounds. 

To complement our luxury boutique accommodation, we are currently recruiting for staff to complement our team of dedicated, highly motivated and outstanding customer service professionals.

The positions we are offering include the following:

Kitchen

  • Chef de Partie (minimum 30 hours per week)

Front Office Staff

  • Receptionists (1 x Full Time and 1 x Part Time position)

Food & Beverage

  • Restaurant Supervisor (minimum 30 hours per week) – should preferably hold current Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and General Manager’s Certificate

Housekeeping

  • Part Time Room Attendant

It is essential that the successful candidates for the above positions possess the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry
  • Commitment to providing and maintaining impeccable standards of guest service
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A pride in their personal grooming

Applicants must have a good command of English and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry. Sponsorship will not be offered for any of these positions.
