Phlebotomists for Donor Blood Collection

Bring your passion for saving lives to this Donor Technician / Phlebotomist role, while providing a positive donor experience. You will grow your career with a reputable, well-respected organisation that is going through exciting expansion.

 

About the Role:

  • Undertake venepuncture procedures related to blood collection
  • Work under the supervision of registered nurses
  • Let your customer service shine – each donor is key to saving lives!
  • Work shifts either 7:30am – 4:00pm, or 11:30am – 8:00pm
  • You have the flexibility to work in South Auckland, Central Auckland, or North Shore
  • Have confidence for administrative duties

 

You must have your current MLPAT, and your Medical Sciences Council of NZ Registration to be considered for this role.

Requirements/About You:

  • Current MLPAT (Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technicians) registration with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ
  • Confident communicator, good attitude, with great interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and to bring a positive outlook to an expanding team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same
  • Be able to work with structure and set procedures
  • And most importantly, be passionate about saving lives
  • Have valid NZ working rights
