Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift

Glendene, Auckland

The opportunity
We are seeking a talented maintenance engineer to join our winery team based in Glendene in West Auckland. This exciting role will be responsible for assisting the winemakers and bottling team to deliver reliability to Delegat quality standards.  You will join a great team at Delegat where you will be set up for success and your career will grow.
•    Reporting to the Winery Engineering Manager, this role has responsibility for undertaking day to day repairs as well as planned preventative maintenance to ensure all plant and equipment runs at optimum efficiency.
•    As well as working autonomously, there will also be a need to supervise and work with contract service providers to the winery.
•    You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all site plant and equipment to ensure that the bottling and packaging plan can be delivered on time and to agreed quality and productivity targets.
•    This full-time night shift (10pm – 6:30am) position of responsibility is offered within a stable and successful work environment. Flexibility in work hours is a requirement.


About you
•    You will be a team player and maintain close and effective relationships with other staff and contract service providers to create a harmonious working environment. 
•    You will be hands-on and have a "can do" attitude, strong collaborative approach and high attention to detail. 
•    You will hold a trade certificate in Fitting and Turning or tertiary qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
•    You will have maintenance experience in Beverage or similar FMCG industries. 
•    You will thrive working in a high performing culture delivering high-quality outcomes
•    You will have demonstrated structured problem capability and the ability to think beyond the fix.
