Territory Sales Manager - Grocery

Be Vital to this role:

Based from Hamilton, you’ll manage our Waikato territory, servicing PAk N Save, New World and Countdown stores. In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies within your territory to achieve sales and merchandising targets. This includes negotiation at the store level, monitoring sales performance and ensuring compliance to agreed customer activities, ensuring products and point of sale materials are displayed for maximum impact in store and timely and accurate management of the customer relationship management system.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A track record of sales success within the FMCG industry
  • Grocery channel experience will be advantageous
  • An ability to identify opportunities for business growth and build relationships with key stakeholders at store level
  • The drive and determination to deliver results
  • Well-honed analytical skills and astute commercial business acumen
  • Confident user of MS Office suite including intermediate level Excel skills
  • Self-drive and the ability to effectively manage your own time
  • The ability to independently problem solve and create solutions
