About the Company:

Kilmarnock Nurseries are a family owned business operating out of Ashhurst. As a wholesale nursery, Kilmarnock specialise in container grown ornamental shrubs, supplying to well-known retailers like Mitre 10, Bunnings and The Warehouse.

About the Role:

Based at reception, you will be the primary person in charge of the main office covering general office duties, customer communication, administration of orders, data entry, accounts receivable and marketing. As an administration superstar, you will be pivotal in the running of smooth business processes.

No two days are the same in this role and the ideal candidate will need to show initiative to get the job done. Working largely on your own, you will be involved in taking orders, printing labels for consignments and organising payment information using Xero software. You won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves whenever the need arises.

Overview of Key Responsibilities:

  • Integral part of the ordering process
  • Accounts receivable and receipting duties
  • Stock data entry
  • Customer service - managing incoming phone calls and emails
  • Marketing activities

To be successful in this role

  • Able to show initiative
  • Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Xero software experience beneficial but not essential
