Based in Albany, our client designs and delivers high-calibre business conferences and training sessions for a range of industry sectors. New Zealand owned and operated for 24 years they take pride in having a diverse culture and friendly, family like feel.

This is an all-round role where you will enjoy engaging in a wide variety of tasks and events. You will be utilising your amazing attention to detail, organization and communication skills.

The role:

As part of the logistics team your role as an Event Logistics Coordinator  is to ensure the event coordination runs smoothly.

You will take the lead in the logistically side of your event to ensure all the pieces of the puzzle come together! Working closely with other teams in the organization, you will ensure everyone has dotted their I’s and crossed their t’s. This will see you working with your internal marketing team, conference creation team and other logistics team members.  Externally you will be coordinating with keynote speakers, event sponsors, delegates and guests and organizing travel and accommodation. In addition you will be liaising with exhibition builders, venue providers and other external parties.

This is a fast paced, and at times demanding role which could see working across several events at any one time.   

About you:

We are looking for a strong communicator who thrives in a customer centric and role and genuinely loves being at the center of the action – where no job is too big or too small and who loves to work collaboratively!  

If you have experience in event management or coordination and pride yourself on the high standards you set when it comes to service delivery, then this role is definitely worth your consideration. We are looking for someone who is process driven and who enjoys working in an "all hands on deck" collaborative team environment.

On offer:

Based in a handy Albany location, you will be provided an on-site car park and the opportunity to attend some exciting events and workshops. 

The role is Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the events some early starts and late finishes may be required from time to time as is travel to Wellington.
