It plays a vital role in attracting visitors to our town from all over the world to experience the thrill of adventure and adrenaline activities.

With both summer and winter products, Adventure Group Limited offer activities that reflect the 'true spirit of adventure'.

This position will require an average of 32 hours per week with flexibility offered around place of work.  There is good variety within the role with scope to lead new initiatives and projects. The 'team approach' and supportive culture that exists within the organisation is conducive to the ongoing success of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving, monitoring and analysis of marketing and sales strategies particularly in the digital marketing space to ensure business growth
  • Brand management, promotion and placement
  • Managing/training the frontline sales team to ensure consistency of messaging and target motivation
  • Coordinating market research, managing and development of company website, maintain booking and reservation systems, implementation and management of pricing policies
  • Maintaining communications and relationships with key stake holders, tourism organisations and external providers.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Ideally experience in Tourism, Hospitality or related industries
  • Relevant educational qualifications base around Marketing/Commerce
  • Well honed skills in digital marketing with strong analytical and strategic ability
  • Experience and success in Sales/Relationship building
  • Sound financial analysis and budgeting ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A collaborative 'can do' attitude
