- 14 Month Fixed Term opportunity (parental leave cover)
What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to join the College Office team whilst the incumbent is on parental leave. This is a key role, responsible for enhancing student recruitment and increasing the profile of the College with prospective students and the community, and providing expert strategic and operational advice and services to achieve these goals. Additionally, the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a targeted outreach, promotion and events programme in partnership with relevant central University teams and developing and supporting the marketing and outreach strategic plan, in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Coordinator, for the College of Engineering.
Who You Are
To succeed in this role you will need a tertiary qualification relevant to the position, demonstrated marketing, publicity and events management experience, proven ability in the development and implementation of marketing plans and excellent written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and subject to tight deadlines is required. Some experience with web design and publishing software as well as knowledge of New Zealand's secondary school environment would be an advantage. You will also have the flexibility to oversee and participate in a small number of events in evenings and weekends, as may be required from time to time.
