What we're after…
An Assistant Accountant to work alongside with our experienced Finance Manager. Your role will be varied and will cover a broad range of accounting and finance duties, you will play an important role in the transactional accounting duties and month end reporting process.  Essential to the role is enthusiasm (and wanting to develop further), initiative (getting things done) and attention to detail.

You'll have great communication skills, and while experience in a similar role would be an advantage, this may also suit a graduate starting their career. 

Initially your tasks will include;

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Daily Bank Reconciliations 
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• GST and PAYE returns
• Payroll (Head office staff & Contractors)
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and supporting monthly and annual reporting.
