Workshop Administrator

Employing over 1400 staff in 15 ports across New Zealand and Australia, C3 Limited is a market leader in the supply and logistics sector, providing port logistics and cargo handling to a broad range of customers. 

Reporting to the Fleet Procurement Manager the primary function of this position is to coordinate and manage all administrative duties for C3’s Mount Maunganui workshop. 

The ideal applicant will be a well organised, proactive and competent administrator who can work autonomously in a workshop environment.  You will be the glue that holds the team together and ensures that items are ordered, data is entered, records are kept and reports are produced on time to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop allowing the mechanics to get on with what they do best – providing safe and reliable assets!

The role covers a variety of administration duties including; invoicing & raising purchase orders for good and services using our Asset management system (Techone), reporting, data entry including payroll timesheets, as well as maintenance of records - including training , contractor and HSE databases. 

The successful candidate will be the interface with contractors on site and have Health & Safety responsibilities that include site inductions, contractor management compliance, HSE meeting functions, risk management duties and management of PPE gear. 

In this position you will also have well developed customer service skills to greet visitors and build strong relationships with suppliers as well as internal and external customers.

  • Proven administrative experience in a busy environment 
  • Financial administration experience including generating invoices & purchase orders
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate level of Excel & Word
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail for data entry
  • Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • A confident and proactive approach 
  • A Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Full Class 1 driver licence?
