We have a unique Customer Service opportunity where you won’t be stuck behind a desk all day. Our client is the ultimate destination for everything you require within your office. They pride themselves on providing great service, a comprehensive product range and competitive pricing. They currently require experienced customer service / dispatch person to join their team.
They are the “go to" people for anything from pens and paper to fabulous office furniture, and all that you require in between! You will be working within a fast-paced environment as part of a hardworking, fun, and vibrant team. Your time will spent in the warehouse assisting with customer service, picking, packing and dispatching your client’s orders, and preparing client invoices.
You will be working within peaks and troughs throughout the day, at times working to tight deadlines, so you will need to be able to work calmly and efficiently without the stress of the busy periods getting to you. It is essential you are organised, with excellent time management skills and able to keep your work area tidy.
Some essential skills and attributes include:
- Being a level-headed team player
- Able to learn quickly and ask the right questions
- You must be fit and healthy as it can be a physically demanding role
- Have the ability to listen well and follow all instructions
- Have the ability to see the bigger picture – what’s happening next?
- You must have excellent communication skills
You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic team who really love what they do! You will receive regular training, support and the tools to succeed in this role. You will be located in Te Rapa, near the The Base and free parking is available on site.
