Brand Manager FMCG

  • Big brand, big budgets!
  • Full end to end marketing.
  • Local marketing creative and initiatives.

The opportunity:

Wow! This must be the hottest Brand Manager role available on the market right now!

We're talking about an incredible brand with household recognition, an enormous marketing budget, sponsorship arrangements that are arguably the best in the country, and the portfolio is comprised of healthy and delicious products.

What more could a developing Brand Manager want for their next role!?

Maybe a great culture too?  Well, you've got it.

This organisation has their people at their heart.  They have a diverse and supportive environment, believe in equality in the work place and drive personal and professional development opportunities.   And they have loads of fun in their city fringe, busy, vibrant office.

Tell me about the role:

This is the perfect next step for a Brand Manager who feels ready to take on a big portfolio with a big marketing budget.

This isn't a 'step-up' role, unless you've been an Assistant Brand Manager for around three years with your own portfolio responsibility.

You'll be developing the brand plan and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Brand Manager with the aim of reaching the portfolios KPIs.

You'll be planning and implementing plenty of marketing strategies and events.

There are stacks of projects to manage from new product development, packaging development, research, PR and 'go to market' across all media channels - ATL, BTL, Digital and Shopper.

You'll be leveraging some big sponsorship arrangements and you'll be managing allocated marketing budgets.

This really is a full end-to-end brand management role where you'll have loads of opportunity to stretch your wings.

What experience will I need?

  • We expect that you'll be a Brand Manager with 4+ years marketing under your belt
  • Have some experience with developing brand positioning
  • Be a commercial and data driven marketer and able to pull out key insights.
  • You'll have brand strategy planning and marketing communications experience, coupled with promotional, creative, and media campaign management.
  • You'll have been exposed to new product development and research projects.
  • Experience is from a manufacturing environment in the FMCG food and beverages sector.
  • And the final boxes that you need to tick are strong analytical skills and experience with Nielsen and Aztec.

This is a full time role, however for the right candidate there may be an opportunity for flexible working hours.

How do I apply?

Apply onilne and tell me how you're the best candidate for this seriously desirable brand management role.

Erin Kirk, Partner, Sales & Marketing, 09 300 6791
