My client is searching for a Graduate Architect with 3+ years’ experience to join their Auckland team. Their culture is energetic, fun and collaborative, where all ideas are welcome and ongoing professional development and growth is supported and encouraged.

They are a leading architectural practice specialising in innovative and sustainable design to create places of excellence. They have worked on some of the region’s most diverse commercial, residential and industrial designs and currently have both small and large projects ranging from detail rammed earth homes to 150 units developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your technical skills on a variety of projects from concept to construction
  • Supporting your team both graphically and technically
  • Working collaboratively with other creative disciplines including urban designers, landscape architects, engineers, project managers and planners
  • Getting your hands dirty in research and development
  • Contributing to the team social culture; we believe in work-life balance and having fun
  • Build your professional relationships by working within collaborative project teams
  • Learn the skills required to enable you to sit for your professional Registration exam.


Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated technical skills using Archicad
  • Degree qualification in Architecture
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience
  • Good understanding of NZ construction processes including details, standards and building codes
  • Experience in managing several projects at one time
  • Strong detailing capabilities with the ability to take complex design details through to construction documentation
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
