We specialise in delivering difficult projects, often focused on design, build and installation.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Design Engineer looking who is looking to start their career or who have graduated in the last two years who has strong engineering and design capability and will focus on:

  • Assist in the implementation and management of the Solidworks PDM system
  • Designs focussed on process optimisation
  • Responsible for managing the design departments quotations and procurement request of non-stock material to time and budget
  • Conveyor systems for varying products/environments
  • Safety guarding systems design
  • Design of Heavy Machinery
  • Designs for hygienic environments
  • Strong ideas for custom equipment development
  • Research into design elements for ergonomics, weight reduction, ease of use, manufacturability, cost reduction, and reliability
  • Production of maintenance manuals and documentation for designed parts and systems

This is a hands-on role and the successful applicant will have proven experience in the following:

  • Proven ability to build very good working relationships with colleagues
  • Two - three years’ 3D modelling experience using SolidWorks
  • Ability to produce high quality technical drawings
  • Fabrication methodology to maximise manufacturability

You will also have:

  • A high level of Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • A highly developed attention to detail
  • A problem solving ‘can do’ attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • A current clean driver’s licence
