This role sits without our Workplace and Technology group which is accountable for. leading, influencing and ensuring that our corporate and transport technologies deliver to business and customer outcomes. The group is accountable for. all cyber and physical security issues, ensuring that the Transport Agency meets its ongoing security and compliance obligations.

The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

As our Crash Data Processor, you will receive, analyse, interpret and process road crash data for. us to have vital information to help us make New Zealand's roads safer.

In this role, you will draw on your ability to not only enter data quickly and accurately, but also make sense of information from more than one source. You'll demonstrate the ability to analyse scenarios and make good decisions based on your analysis. By making sense of the data and applying the right predetermined codes to various scenarios, your work helps build a bigger picture so we can interpret how crashes happen and make more informed decisions regarding appropriate further action.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Fast and accurate proven data entry and/or. coding skills
  • Ability to think logically and analytically
  • A curious mind and keen to look beyond initial information
  • An interest in data and it's management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving experience
  • Proven ability to work co-operatively with your peers
