An opportunity has become available for an Auckland Regional Field Manager to join the Ovato Residential Distribution team. This person would be responsible for the supervision and management of a team of Area Supervisors, mainly based in Auckland and surrounding towns. Our Area Supervisors manage our delivery teams, together with the distribution of circulars and community newspapers into letterboxes throughout the country.
The Field Manager would be responsible for the Supervisor Network performing and achieving their goals, actively recruiting for these positions when needed, provide ongoing training and support, and have regular visits, as required, with Supervisors to discuss network issues and developments. The role would also include client visits, as requested by Ovato.
The role also includes taking a strong lead for on-line recruitment with the placing of advertisements for our delivery network.
We are looking for someone who is experienced with strong team and leadership skills, who would be able to manage their teams to achieve set goals and targets. You need to have an understanding of client expectations, working to deadlines and be a strong problem solver. You also need to be able to work independently as well as express yourself clearly and concisely. The position would be particularly suitable for someone with management experience and who has the freedom to travel.
