OCULA is based in Wanaka, and is a family, Kiwi-owned company with eyewear and eyecare boutiques in Wanaka, Queenstown and Christchurch. We are growing rapidly and need the support of a sales and marketing whiz to keep the momentum going! 

 

About the role

 

The full-time role can be based at either our Queenstown or Wanaka stores. The role will include the following tasks:

  • B2C - retail floor sales in our retail boutiques 

  • B2B - management of CRM platform and liaising with key B2B clients

  • Manage social media channels 

  • Plan & implement marketing strategies online & in-store

  • Create digital marketing content

  • Create marketing material

    • Brochures

    • Adverts

    • Emails

    • Window displays & visual merchandising

  • Write and proof all promotional content

    • Magazine adverts

    • Press releases

  • Event coordination

  • Google Adwords

  • Facebook Advertising

 

Skills and experience

 

Experience with the following is not essential, but advantageous:

  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords

  • Facebook Analytics and Marketing / Audiences / Advertising

  • CRM platforms

Key Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and superior English writing skills are critical.

  • A quick learner, autonomous and self-motivated 

  • Flexibility and ingenuity 

  • Design and creative flare 

  • A go-getter, result oriented and a good communicator

  • Be able to work independently

  • A hunger for success

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or certificate ideally in business, sales, marketing and/or communications

  • The right to work in NZ

  • A current full driver's license
