WAREHOUSE PICKER/PACKER NIGHT SHIFT

Bidfood - Christchurch City - Canterbury

Based in Hornby, you will be joining our busy team, picking and packing customer orders to a high standard. The successful applicant will be working directly with food  in a chilled environment so there is an expectation to have a high level of personal hygiene and be prepared to dress appropriately. Shifts start at 20.00 to 04.30 and 22.00 hours to 06.30am,  Sunday night to Friday night, on a rotating roster.

A good understanding of both written and verbal English and Maths is needed to complete the work allocated and a current NZ Work Visa is to be presented, if applicable. Reliable transport as is a plus but there is limited public transport available to suit the shift.

Full training will be given, so while previous experience is a bonus, it is not a requirement for this position.

Other advantages are:

  • A current forklift licence
  • Be prepared to work Friday and/or Sunday nights.
  • A 'Can do will do' Attitude.
  • An eye for detail
  • Reliability

Pay is based on experience and negotiated. Staff buying options are available.
