Administrator - Waikato Secondary Schools Sports

Sport Waikato, in partnership with Waikato Secondary Schools Sports Association, is seeking a Sports Administrator to support the Secondary Schools Executive Sport Director and Secondary Schools Development Officer.

The role:

Supporting administration and communication by: 

  • Responding to general school and sport email enquiries
  • Assisting with maintaining updates for the Waikato Secondary Schools website
  • Assisting with maintaining posts for social media 
  • Assisting with processing entries, draws and results for scheduled events
  • Maintaining the secondary school budget and event accounts

The ideal candidate:

You will be an outstanding, well-organised and efficient Administrator. To shine in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in and administrative role
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
  • A keen interest and ideally some knowledge in secondary school sport
  • Have strong computing skills including Microsoft Office 
  • Some knowledge of social media and website administration platforms
