The role

An exciting role has become available in our sunny New Plymouth office due to strong customer demand. This is a great opportunity to progress your career and work on some exciting projects.

As a Datacom PM your role isn't just to run projects successfully, on time and on budget, but also to enhance our reputation with customers, to deliver sustainable value, to help with innovation, and to manage and mentor your delivery team every day.

To secure this role you will be a positive, confident IT professional with the ability to motivate and manage yourself and others. We are after a team-player who likes to work hard, deliver results and have fun! Core requirements include a tertiary qualification, PM certification, practical PM experience delivering both business software and infrastructure projects. We're seeking candidates with broad IT knowledge across software development and infrastructure delivery from a vendor's standpoint, as well as experience in change management on the client side. You will need to demonstrate proven success, building and maintaining relationships with customers and your internal stakeholders/peers.

Things that will catch our attention:

  • Previous software Project Management experience in the IT industry
  • Previous infrastructure Project Management experience in the IT industry
  • Business change management experience
  • Local government experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • A great attitude
