Swiss-BelSuites Victoria Park is a 5 star, boutique, all suites hotel located in the heart of Auckland City.

With 40 suites, attention to detail and quality customer service is what makes the difference.

Currently filling positions in;

- Guest Service Agent

- Reception/Reservations

- Housekeeping Room Attendants

As a Swiss-Belsuites team member, your job will be to delight and amaze our guests on a daily basis. In order to be successful in this role you should excel in the below points:

Greets & interacts with guests in a helpful manner using their name whenever possible.
Registers and rooms all arrivals according to established procedures
Maintains intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedures

Serving a small range of F&B options to guests, including coffee making.
Maintains cashier float and ensures accurate daily report of all money received
Be aware at all times about room rates and be able to offer the best rates to direct guests
Attends to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, refers problems to manager when required.
Does everything possible to ensure that the guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hotel service
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures including correct forms to use, how to read and enter online bookings, e-mail messages, and how to interpret availability sources within the reservation systems
Liaise with the Housekeeping on allocation of all VIP rooms, room moves, group allocations and special requests.
To be fully aware of the daily worksheets and handover reports, and ensure that all these are used effectively as a means of communication.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:

Experience in guest services in a similar capacity.
Creative and active thinker, always with an eye on innovative experiences.
Able to work independently to get the job done with minimal supervision.
Having LCQ training and a current Manager's Certificate is an added advantage but not essential.
Able to work a range of shifts/hours including night shift & weekends.
