What we require:

As an assistant manager you'll be a wonderful host, welcoming people into the restaurant and providing them with an exceptional dining experience. Your food and wine knowledge will help guide diners and other staff (we offer training on this too if needed), and you'll be willing and open to learning from Chef Stuart Rogan about our cuisine style and approach. You won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in during service, demonstrating to the team how to deliver truly great service and set and maintain a standard of excellence in a relaxed, friendly and calm manner.

You'll be an important member of our small team, supporting Katie Woodhead, Venue Manager and Stuart and Emma Rogan, the owners. An enthusiast for great food and hospitality, you'll be particular when it comes to taking care of the details.

In addition you will have:

At least 2-3 years+ experience as a Duty Manager or similar senior waitstaff role.

Friendly, outgoing personality with genuine regard for people and excellent customer service.

Able to run the restaurant and remain calm and professional under pressure - we are busy!

Good food, wine and spirit knowledge.  Bar experience a plus.

Proactive in own learning and loads of common sense.

Excellent attention to detail.

Understanding COGS, Budgets and labour costs
