An exciting employment opportunity is now available within Council’s Building Services Team. We are looking to maintain our ability to provide seamless processes with a high quality of service to our community.

Role of Building Services Administration Officer

Ideally you have experience in a regulatory environment but more so your outstanding ability to handle high volumes of work, and passion for learning a variety of roles that fall within this team. You will be a top-notch administrator who is system savvy, competent in the use of MS Office applications, and have intuitive ability to master new systems.

You will have worked within a busy professional environment and easily build excellent working relationships. Your proactive nature along with great attention to detail will make you perfect to this role.

The Building Services Administration officers play a vital part in coordinating information, compiling building consents, and scheduling building inspections for a busy team. The role of Building Services is to provide the provision of an effective and efficient building consents service to the community. This includes administrating, lodging, processing, issuing, and invoicing of building consents. It also involves providing administrative information and strong customer service to internal and external customers.
